Join us for the next Dare to Be Square - May 8-10, 2026
The DC Square Dance Collective and our friends at the Baltimore Square Dance are excited to host another year of Dare to Be Square DMV! This is a fun, affordable, weekend-long gathering and getaway featuring sessions where you can square dance to your heart’s content, learn to call your first dance, hone your calling skills (any and all levels), enjoy instrument and singing sessions, learn clogging/flatfooting, play lawn games (for real), or take advantage of oodles of opportunities to jam and just hang out!
Registration will open soon! Everyone must register in advance because we cannot sell onsite registrations at the park.
We’re thrilled to be welcoming back Will Mentor and introducing Charmaine Slaven as dance callers and instructors. We’ll also have performances and workshops from an all star lineup of musicians, including Steam Machine (Minneapolis) and Big Cricket (Baltimore).
